A dollar a like fund raising a huge success!

Angel's Gate is honoured to have CapitaLand Hope Foundation as our official Charity Partner in Angel's Gate Season 1.

CapitaLand Hope Foundation donated S$1.00 for every "like" generated by businesses on the Angel's Gate website. Through this campaign, CapitaLand Hope Foundation supported and encouraged entrepreneurs to give back to society as they promote their businesses. It is a common misconception that giving back should only begin after businesses take off. Angel's Gate and CapitaLand Hope Foundation would like to change that, and promote the spirit of giving among business owners right from the beginning of their entrepreneurial journeys.

CapitaLand Hope Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand, was established in 2005 to further CapitaLand's corporate social responsibility commitment to build a better future for underprivileged children. Its focus is to support programmes for the shelter, education and healthcare needs of underprivileged children in Singapore and overseas.

Together, Angel's Gate & CapitaLand Hope Foundation has raised $40,000 in total through the campaign! Each of the selected children's charities as seen below received $10,000.

We would like to thank everyone for their contribution and support towards this successful charity campaign!

Infant Jesus Homes & Children's Centres

Infant Jesus Homes & Children's Centres run various centres supporting the underprivileged children in the community. Our Learning Support programme caters to at-risk primary school children and Headstart programme caters to the pre-schoolers. In addition, our Residential Care service in a HDB flat setting caters to children, aged 3 – 12 years. We provide them with a familial environment where they receive the much-needed emotional, educational and social support.

Jamiyah Children's Home

Jamiyah Children's Home is set up to provide holistic residential care for orphans and less fortunate children from the disadvantaged families, regardless of race or religion. It provides proper care and attention for these underprivileged children especially in their education, health, discipline and character development. We hope that they will be good citizens and contribute positively to the community and the nation despite their background.

Melrose Home

The Children's Aid Society is among the oldest philanthropic organisation in Singapore, having been formed in the late 1800s as the St Nicholas Home. Melrose Home provides a supportive environment for children between the ages of 4 to 18 years old, a "home away from home" for children and teenagers who need care and protection in a residential setting. These are children whose parents or family members are unable to provide care or to supervise them. Children of other ages are admitted under special circumstances as well depending on their needs. The Home has the capacity to provide quality residential care for 60 children and 15 teenagers.

Sunbeam Place

Sunbeam Place is managed by the Singapore Children's Society for children and young persons aged 2 to 18 years who are in need of safety and protection. The centre provides a home design which is based on small group home concept where not more than 12 residents are housed in each modular unit consisting of bedrooms, living and kitchen facilities. The objective of this arrangement is to create a family environment for the residents so that they live and learn in a positive environment. Besides lodging and personal care, the Home provides a range of programmes that target at the residents' emotional and developmental needs.
