JustCall is a complete local information service for consumers. The founders have realized that there is a huge gap in the expectations of consumers for local information. This market is completely underserved. It is the only company in the Philippines that is actually trying to provide a unique and convenient service offering a pure listings search of comprehensive updated information of products and services.

Local information typically is very actionable and people are looking for something because they want to go somewhere, buy something or use a service and to do that you need a lot of information. People are in-need of some factual information like the name, address, number of a place and where else the same services can be found in stores across Manila. People need some information, which is contextual information that is the wisdom, experience or knowledge of other people.

ABOUT THE COMPANY and ITS HISTORY

JustCall.ph will begin its operations on March 2012 under the corporation name, Web Innovation Ventures, Inc.  Initially, the company was registered on July 31, 2011 as sole proprietorship under its founder, Julius Neil Buenconsejo. Three individuals, Rosemarie Buenconsejo (20%), Von Oneil Buenconsejo (20%) and its founder will own a percentage of the 1000 shares of the company.

JustCall.ph is a local search engine offering PHONE - Assisted search, SMS/TEXT - enabled Search, WEB Internet search and MOBILE/WAP app-supported Search. The unique search engine is the first and only of its kind in the Philippines where people will be able to access information instantly thru several mediums using a regular mobile phone. It aims to be the largest and the most comprehensive business information portal where many of the listings are unique and cannot be found in other search engines.

The company started in a garage in Metro Manila owned by one of the founders with two (2) recycled desktops, two (2) used laptops, few chairs & tables (donated by friends), one (1) telephone line and a 3G USB stick broadband connected in a router for Internet sharing. The team plans to move in a decent and bigger space in Makati City, the premier business district of the Philippines.
