Virtual Fitting Shopping Experience (Social Media)
What is D'Vuz ?
D’vuz(Day-voo: derived from Rendezvous) is an online shopping portal which consolidates clothes from global retailers, major apparel brands and emerging blog shops to make the user’s shopping experience fast, and fun. D’vuz users can create an individual customized account for free by providing their vital stats, height, weight and other important information or simply through body scanning to create a 3D virtual version of themselves. With this avatar the user can now view how a particular item of clothing will appear on him/her and has the option of mix matching different brands. To enjoy more features of this website an additional fee will be charged for upgrading the membership.
- Fred wants to know how exactly certain apparels will look on him. Although he prefers tighter and well-fitting clothes, his worries whether a L size instead of an XL make his belly obvious. He complains that the clothes worn on the website models are often so well-fitting and nice but somehow look inappropriate on him.
- Pamela also wants some nice clothes but most often they do not contain her size. She wants to highlight her interest to the company but more often than not her size is not available for that outfit. .
- Sherry is not interested in wearing boring and standard set of clothes. She wants to be able to mix and match different apparels and accessories from different brands and shops to get her ideal “look” before she goes ahead with the purchase. She wants a pre-purchase preview of what she is going to look, like a “versatile multi-brand dressing room”
- Tammy wants to be able to access to clothes internationally from all over the world in a centralized location. He doesn’t like the idea of going to several websites or worst still, having to fly to over to different countries just to get the clothes he wants.
D’vuz solves all these problems. D’vuz’s large database of various companies both high-end as well as small brands will open a vast ocean of options for its users not only by allowing them to select from amongst several designs but also try on these clothes virtually by the means of an avatar so as to obtain a preview of their final outfit. Shopping is now less time consuming, more effortless, enjoyable and global.
